6. Please wear ALL WHITE to the ceremony.
To request the taking of an AZTEC /MEXICA name for children.
1. Parents wishing for their children to take on an Aztec/Mexica name should contact Judith Garcia, Circle Head of Cuauhtemoc, to proceed . (213) 481-8265

2. The parents can research the name on their own or ask for assistance either before or during the ceremony.

3. The taking of name is relatively serious matter to be considered carefully. The parent must be commited to raise the child with an awareness of the meaning of their name as well as the history, culture, and tradition of the AZTEC/MEXICA people, or their own indigenous history.
